Our very own Shanna Meade is throwing a Benefit Concert on Saturday, December 14 at 7pm.  It is for a great cause and will be a great opportunity to support each other and rock out!!  I hope to see you all there!

Town Hall Meeting with John Donnally and the Tick-Borne Disease Alliance Monday 5pm-6pm

Come join John Donnally and the  Bite Back for a Cure Campaign at Refuge Coffee Bar Monday, November 11 at 5pm.  John has been riding his bike across the country to spread awareness  and raise money for Lyme Disease and other Tick-Borne Illnesses.  He will be in Cincinnati this weekend staying with our friends the Woodburns and they will both be answering questions about Lyme Disease at Refuge Coffee Bar.

Katie Show featuring Dr. Horowitz

On Wednesday October 9 the Katie Show will be airing an interview with Dr. Horowitz, a doctor from the IDSA, and patients with Lyme Disease.  After the show will be an online discussion forum on her website.  Set your DVRs and if you happen to miss it you can watch past episodes for a short period of time on her website.

Let’s support the cause and Dr. Richard Horowitz, and the patients in this big interview!!  Her show reaches 2.7 MILLION viewers!  What a great opportunity to spread awareness!

I have been lucky enough to become friends with an author and advocate right here in Ohio, Janet DeCesare.  She sent me her book, Ticked Off, about her journey through Lyme Disease, and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.  I would highly recommend reading it!  She has done a wonderful job and works very hard on behalf of the Lyme community.  She has inspired me to take the time reach out more to our representatives.
